We host only one wedding per week, giving you full exclusive access to the barns from the Wednesday prior to your special day. We offer you the freedom and flexibility to tailor-make and personalise your wedding.

Preparations

Getting ready for your wedding day at Combe Manor Barns is a truly unique experience – one that feels like a home away from home. With your closest friends and family by your side, you’ll create cherished memories filled with laughter and excitement as you prepare in our stunning bridal bedroom, complete with an en suite bathroom, within the charming Manor House.

Ceremony

Your wedding ceremony is yours to design, brining your unique vision to reality. We give you the freedom to choose between a stunning classical church wedding, an intimate civil ceremony in the barns, or a beautiful outdoor celebration on the lawn (weather permitting!).

Our dedicated team is here to ensure every detail is flawlessly executed, so you can savour every moment.

Civil Ceremony

A civil ceremony with us can accommodate
up to 170 seated guests.

Please note: we have a licence with West Berkshire Council to conduct civil ceremonies in the Barns.

Church Ceremony

Our delightful neighbouring Grade I listed church only 50 yards away offers a timeless setting for up to 120 guests.

Please note, to secure a church ceremony, a discussion with the local Rector and an agreement with the Church of England is required.

Some couples prefer to be married in their local parish church and then come to Combe Manor Barns for the reception, and evening entertainment, afterwards.

Reception

After the ceremony, guests can make their way to the dining barn, where a beautifully served meal awaits. In the summer months, the barn courtyard becomes a lively gathering space, perfect for mingling, relaxing, and enjoying a drink in the sunshine.

Food

Right beside the Barns, we have a fully equipped production kitchen, ready to cater for up to 200 guests.

If you prefer trestle tables over round tables, we have plenty available, along with chairs to accommodate up to 150 guests at no extra cost.

Drink

We warmly welcome you to celebrate your special day with your own drinks. There’s no corkage fee, and we provide dedicated fridges to keep your wines perfectly chilled.

Alternatively, you can opt for a paid bar for all or part of your day. We’re happy to recommend trusted suppliers who will handle the licensing and provide a fully stocked bar with professional staff.

Suppliers

We have an excellent list of recommended local caterers with whom we have worked in the past. Or we welcome you to use your own suppliers for catering, drinks, floristry, etc.

Evening

Relax and dance the night away on our custom-designed dance floor, nestled in the heart of the barns. Our entertainment stage is perfectly set up for bands, DJs, or live performers, ensuring an unforgettable night of music and celebration.

To ensure a wonderful evening while respecting our surroundings, we kindly ask that amplified music concludes by 23:15. This guideline, set in accordance with Council advice, has never been an issue at past weddings and helps us maintain good relations with our neighbours.

The whole venue is a perfect combination of ’do it yourself', with all the high-end professional equipment required to do it well. The barn is exceptionally well-stocked for many different styles and layouts for your day, with Sybille on-hand to make your dream a reality.”
